一個設計案件是體現客戶的願望。
托比亞試圖了解這些需求，並整合成可以提高客戶的生活質量，設計出兼具功能和美感的空間。出於這個原因，我們沒有一個特定的“風格”或案件“類型”，而是深入了解每個案件，作為我們一個特殊的旅程。
A design project embodies the aspirations and private desires of its client. Topia's job is to try and identify those needs, and to synthesize them into a space that can improve the life quality of its inhabitants, both functionally and aesthetically. For this reason, we do not have a particular "style" or project "type," but rather view each of our projects as a unique journey.

- 曾經參與過巴黎.波士頓.台北.金邊等建築案件。
- 於2008年成立托比亞設計有限公司。
Carol Yao was born in Christchurch, New Zealand. She received a Bachelor of Arts and Design from MIT in 1985, and a Masters of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 1990. Ms. Yao has worked in Boston, Paris, and Taipei, including at such distinguished firms as Benjamin Thompson and Associates (Boston), I.M. Pei and Partners (Paris), and Santiago Calatrava (Paris). She has practiced architecture and interior design in Taiwan for the past 24 years. She established Topia Design in 2008.
